How long is the in-home consultation?

Plan to spend about a half hour at the in-home consultation. This is when we become knowledgeable about your pets likes and dislikes, their individual personalities, medical history, where their supplies are located and any other pertinent information we'll need to provide the highest level of care.

What results and benefits can I expect from daily dog walking?

You can expect a happy and healthy dog. Knowing your dog is recieving the exercise attention they deserve will provide you with relief of stress and guilt over leaving them. Daily exercise is essential to your dogs physical well-being, but also prevents them from getting mentally tired. This is especially the case for most of our dogs who live with us in apartments. A restless dog will become irritable and begin to destroy your belongings out of boredom or just looking for excitement. We guarantee you will see a change for the better in your dog if you use our regular walking service.

Our service area is Walnut Creek, Lafayette, Alamo and Pleasant Hil.

Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?

Yes we are licensed, bonded and insured. We are happy to provide you with a copy of these documents.

Do I have to sign any forms?

Yes, we need a signed Service Agreement and Veterinary Release. These documents summarize what we discuss in our consultation and also ensure that your pet receives the highest level of care during your absence.

Are there any extra costs around major holidays?

Yes, a $10 surcharge is added to each visit on any of the following observed holidays: New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, President's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Eve, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

When is payment due?

We are a pre-paid service. Payment is due before services begin. For monthly dog walking service, payment must be recieved by the 5th of each month to avoid a finance charge.

What are your key policies?

We have a “Ready Key” program that ensures the safety of your key. Once we get your key it is assigned a special code and it will be stored in our secure lock box. Your key code and address are stored separately for security purposes. If you do not have the key ready at the initial consultation, we charge a $15 key pick-up/drop-off fee. We recommend using Ready Key for safety and convenience.
