Why should I choose Happy Go Lucky Pet Care?

Our careers consist of providing the absolute best care for your pets to your specifications. We achieve this from the beginning at our first consultation where we interview you and take time to meet your pets.

How long is the free consultation?

Expect to spend an hour at the first consultation. This is when we become knowledgeable about your home and each of your pets so we can provide the highest level of service. If it takes longer than an hour then we will stay longer.

What results and benefits can I expect from daily dog walking?

You can expect a happy and healthy pet as well as relief of stress and guilt over leaving your pet. Daily exercise is essential to your dogs physical well-being, but also prevents him from getting mentally tired. This is especially the case for most of our dogs who live with us in apartments. A restless dog will become irritable and begin to destroy your belongings out of boredom or just looking for excitement. If you enroll your dog in the Happy or Lucky dog walking packages, we guarantee you will see a change for the better in your dogs.

Can I contact some of your former clients to get a glimpse of what it’s like using your services?

Absolutely. We can provide you with a listing of names and telephone numbers from clients who are willing to speak with you about
their experience.

Which cities do you service?

Our standard service area is Alamo, Walnut Creek, Lafayette, Moraga, Orinda, Pleasant Hill, Pacheco, Clayton, Concord, and Martinez. Service is available for all other areas, however an additional mileage fee will be assessed.

Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?

Yes we are, and our licensing records can be found on file at City Hall. Upon request we can provide proof of bonding and insurance.

Do I have to sign a contract?

Yes, we need a signed service agreement that explains that you are aware of and agree to our policies and procedures.

Are there any extra costs on major holidays?

Yes, a $10 surcharge is added to each visit if it falls on any one of the following observed holidays:

• New Year's Day
• Martin Luther King Day
• President's Day
• Easter
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Columbus Day
• Thanksgiving
• Christmas Day

When is payment due?

Payment is due before most services are complete. Regular Daily dog walking can be billed monthly if we have a credit card on file. Cat and dog vacation visits and overnight sitting reservations are billed after you have met your sitter. If you have previously met your sitter then a bill is mailed or emailed at the time you make your reservation for that sitter. You can either mail us a check when you get your bill or you can call us with your credit card information.

Where do I mail my payment?

Happy Go Lucky Pet Care
1630 N. Main St. Suite 310
Walnut Creek, Ca. 94596

What are your key policies?

Most clients give key(s) to the sitter at the initial interview. We have a “Ready Key” program that ensures the safety of your key. Once we get your key it is assigned a code and will be stored in our locked box. Your key code and address are stored separately for security purposes. If you do not have the key ready at the initial consultation, we charge a $15 key pick-up fee. We recommend using Ready Key for safety and convenience, but we can leave it in your home at the end of the sit, whichever you prefer. If you decide to have the sitter leave the key in your home after the last visit, please arrange for a neighbor or someone nearby to have a spare key in the event that you are delayed and your pets require further visits.
